Who can attend?
Rapp Respite offers an engaging and rewarding environment for individuals with early to mid-stage dementia and/or Parkinson’s Disease. Please note that, in order to ensure a safe and positive experience for all involved, we can only accept members who:

Are ambulatory with or without assistive devices such as a cane, walker, or wheelchair.

Are able to toilet themselves.

Are able to take any needed medications on their own.

Are able to enjoy activities in a group setting.
To ensure the program will be beneficial for your loved one, a thorough application process will be conducted. If you’d like to apply, here are the next steps:

Read the POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL.

Read through all of the application materials carefully.

If you have questions after reading through the application and the program policies and procedures, they can be directed to: rapprespite@rappathome.org.

When you’re ready to apply, use the link below to complete the application. If you are not comfortable completing the application on-line, you may email rapprespite@rappathome.org to request an emailed copy of the application.

Don’t delay, space is limited! Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. When the program fills, we’ll start a waitlist.
What happens next?
If your member application looks like a good fit for our program, we will be in touch to set up an intake interview. If it does not seem that our program will suit your needs, we will be in touch to let you know about alternate options.
Our application process is carefully conducted by Rapp at Home staff. Please be patient with our team, as it takes time to sort through applications and determine whether your loved one is a good candidate for the program. However, if you have not heard from us within two weeks of submitting an application, feel free to email us to verify that we received your application materials: rapprespite@rappathome.org.
